Kazem Taghavi
In the name of Allah,
Muhammad Kazem Taqvi began his studies at the seminary in 1983 and continued his education at the seminary in Qom in 1991. After completing his higher education, he took many years of Tafsir and New Theology classes from Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, and for more than fifteen years he took classes outside of jurisprudence and principles from Ayatollah Fadel Lankarani, Ayatollah Sanei, Ayatollah Sobhani, Ayatollah Shubeiri Zanjani, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, Ayatollah Tabrizi, and Ayatollah Soroush Mahallati. In philosophy, he took lessons from Professor Hassan Moalemi and Ayatollah Bayat Zanjani, and in mysticism, he took tapes from Ayatollah Hassanzadeh Amoli and Professor Yadollah Yazdan Panah. In addition to conventional seminary classes, he also participated in other educational courses, such as the specialized course on Imam Khomeini's political thought, and he collaborated with the quarterly publications of the Islamic Government and the seminary page of the Islamic Republic newspaper. He taught for many years at Allameh Tabataba'i University, Shahed University, and Saveh City Branch Azad University.
His main concern and activity is research and writing in various fields of Islamic sciences, including research and writing on the thought and life of Imam Khomeini, for which he has written and published more than two hundred articles so far.
He has been the director of research at the institute for more than ten years.
